Cute Purple Ring

This cute ring was also gifted to me by my best friend during the past month. I think this ring is super cute, it looks so classy and it very flattering. It has little purple gemstones, in the center and the metal work is very intricate. There are also lighter colored purple stones all over the ring and I adore the box for this ring with the cute purple bow. This is a gorgeous statement ring that goes with a lot of outfits.

Product Review: Montagne Jeunesse Face Masques

From Left to Right: Passion Peel Off and Fruit Smoothie Face Masques

Back in December, I was doing some late Christmas shopping and I happened to be in Peacocks looking for some items of clothing to wear in the holiday season and I came across these Montagne Jeunesse Masques. I have been looking out for these masques for the longest time as I’ve heard so many great things about them and wanted to try them out. However I had only seen them online and they were a little pricey. So of course as soon as I saw them I grabbed them up and bought them. The were €1.50 each which I know is a little more but still totally worth it. I got the Passion Peel Off and the Fruit Smoothie Masques.

The Montagne Jeunesse Masques are good quality masques for a really decent price. They never test any of their products on animals and they always try to use natural ingredients. You can see more product information and about the brand on the Montagne Jeunesse website.

The Passion Peel Off as the name implies is a masque that you peel off your face. The masque is made from Pomegranate Pulp and Passion Flower and it has a really nice scent. I had never tried one of these peeling masques and so I was super exited to try this out. The consistency of this masque is really sticky and it has a light pomegranate color. The package contains 10ml of product.

What they say on their website:
Gently peel away dead skin with this amazing deep cleansing masque. Our Pomegranate and Passion Flower formula cleans, purifies and protects leaving your skin feeling fresh and radiant.
Recommended for Normal, Dry and T-Zone Skin.

  • Gluten Free
  • Nut Derivative Free
  • No Added Parabens

I applied a thin layer to the skin and let it sit there for about 15 minutes, at which point it had formed a dry layer over my skin, and then slowly peeled it off my skin which was a weird experience. My skin was left feeling really nice and smooth. This also has ingredients which are anti-oxidants and help protect the skin and deep clean my pores. A big bonus to these masques is their amazing smell, really fruity and sweet.

The Fruit Smoothie Masque on the other hand is a rich, thick peachy-looking masque that gives a really cooling effect to the skin. This masque is made from crushed Raspberry and Mango. The package contains 20g of product.

What they say on their website:
Bursting with healthy goodness, our thick Crushed Raspberry and Mango smoothie delight will leave you with fresher, cleansed and softer skin. Lavishly apply and treat your skin to a pore cleansing, sensational awakening.
Recommended for Normal, Dry and T-Zone Skin.

  • Gluten Free
  • No Added Parabens

I applied this masque over my face in a thick layer and let it dry. Then I rinsed it off with warm water, and got a nice smooth, fresh feeling skin.

Product Review: Elf Studio Lip Balm

I have tried many lip balms as I have lips which tend to be dry and the Elf Studio Lip balm with SPF 15 is one of the best lip balm that I have. It has a minty taste to it and it makes my lips feel tingly when I apply it and it has a protection of SPF 15 added to it. The consistency is not too creamy and it is not too soft, so that when you apply it to your lips it stays on for a long time and it is also not sticky, so it is not annoying. I bought this from the Elf website here.

What they claim:
Relieves and soothes lips with a drench of moisture. SPF 15 helps to shield lips from harmful sun rays. Softens lips to prevent and temporarily protect against chapped, cracked or chafed lips.

This product is in the more pricier products of the website, but none the less it is still very affordable. It leaves a thin protective layer on my lips with no color to it, that lasts for a long time and it conditions my lips.  This product retails for €4/£3.50 on the Elf UK website and it contains 2.1g.

What is your favorite lip balm? Have you tried this lip balm?

Christmas Gifts: Mini Carpisa Jewelery Box

This is another present that a lovely friend of mine gave me for this Christmas! It is a lovely mini Carpisa jewelery box. It is quite small and compact and it has a gorgeous dark green shade. The outside of the jewelry box is in leather and it has this snake skin pattern too it. The inside is then covered with lovely felt material which is really soft.

On the inside it has a cute small mirror and different compartments. A compartments to put some rings, some ear studs and the top part can be taken out to put things in the lower compartment, in which you could put necklaces. I am really loving this small box, as the jewelry box I have is wooden and it is actually my mother’s and it is quite old. Carpisa really do good quality products and I’ve never bought any of their stuff because they are a little pricey for me, so this was a much appreciated gift. 🙂

Have you tried any stuff from Carpisa?

Haul: Essence

Essence Soft Touch Make-up in 02 Matt Beige, Essence Clear & Matt Foundation in 02 Honey and Essence Long lasting eye pencil in 02 Hot Chocolate

I have recently found this brand called Essence that can be found in drugstore or pharmacies where I live. They are really cheap and affordable products and so far I really like the quality. I had already tried out their concealer and I love it, it is one of my favorites. So I decided to try out some other products too. I picked up 3 items. I wanted to try the Clear & Matt foundation as it is oil free and I got it in the color Honey. Their color range is really limited but this color matches me pretty well. The product itself has a very light consistency and the coverage is light to medium but you can build it a little. It covers my uneven complexion and gives me a nice everyday natural look.

Next is the Soft touch make-up which I thought looked really similar to the Maybelline Dream Mousse foundation and I can confirm that it is really similar. It has that mousse feeling that we all adore and it is really light on the skin. I got in the color Matt Beige and it is a little too yellow for me but if I blend it down the neck it doesn’t show at all. It leaves my skin feeling non-greasy and my skin looks really flawless.

Last of all I picked up the long lasting eye pencil in their shade for brown which is called Hot Chocolate. I love these pencils, I also have it in black and they are really long lasting on the water line and once they dry they last a long time. I also did a review on the Essence Cover Stick.

Have you tried any products from Essence? What do you think?

Christmas Gifts: Butterfly Ring

As I previously mentioned, I am a big fan of the color teal and I have many items of clothing to prove my obsession. My best friend, who is awesome, got me this cute butterfly ring in this gorgeous teal color as one of my Christmas gifts and I must admit that I adore the cute box it came in too. I’m not usually a big fan of large rings but  I adore this one. 😀

What did you get for Christmas?
