REVIEW | Pupa Milano Mascara Vamp Extreme

Pupa Milano Mascara Vamp Exteme

Although I am almost always up to try new makeup products, I must admit that I am a bit of a mascara snob. I have stuck with the same mascara for years now and every time I stray away, I am never satisfied with the results. That is until I had the opportunity to try the Pupa Milano Mascara Vamp Extreme a couple of weeks back, the new addition to the Pupa Milano Mascara family.

Unlike my usual choice of mascara, the Pupa Milano Mascara Vamp Extreme in 010 Extra Black is not waterproof, however it lasts great throughout the day without flaking (something which I noticed even some of the waterproof mascaras I have tried sometimes do).

The mascara wand although being one of the hard plastic ones, has small bristles that act great to brush through the eyelashes, easily separating them. They feel like a little comb going through your eyelashes, applying the product from root to tip. The colour is a deep black that gives great definition and you can build up on the volume with just two layers.

Still going strong after more than 12hrs of wear

Although I did notice that the mascara does not hold a curl as much as waterproof versions, it makes up for it by giving great length and volume. For the first couple of uses I used a clean mascara wand to brush through my lashes after applying it, as the mascara was still too wet. But after about two weeks of use the consistency is now perfect for a quick application.

The Pupa Mascara Vamp Extreme is suitable for sensitive eyes and for contact lens wearers, and retails for €14.50.
